"My son Gabe has been in Ms. Christy's Kindermusik class for 4 years. I have seen him grow from a shy toddler to a creative and self confident young boy. He has developed a love for music and has an interest in learning the piano and other new instruments. Gabe and I have enjoyed learning new things together that with out Kindermusik we would never have experienced. Since Gabe graduated from Kindermusik this spring, we will miss going to Kindermusik every week and seeing all the new friends we have met on the way. "We first learned about Kindermusik through an ad in the yellow pages under "Music Instruction".  At the time we were interested in starting our toddler in music lessons, but we were unsure if an eighteen month old was too young to start.  After meeting Mrs. Christy and observing a class, we enrolled in our first Our Time session.  Now, four years and two kids later, it is undeniable that Kindermusik has been a beneficial part of our children's physical and mental development.  Both boys have loved the music CD's, books, instruments, and most of all the instructors.  It has been wonderful to see them grow and learn through the music instruction and to do so in a way that has been both fun and exciting.  Mrs. Christy and Mrs. Raye Jean have made learning about music a joy and both boys look forward to their classes every week.  Both instructors have a true love of music which is evident in their teaching and interaction with the children.  We highly recommend Kindermusik to all of our friends and look forward to many more years of having Kindermusik kids."

"Kindermusik is more than a class for pre-school age children.   Whether bringing us together to play Roll Over Rover, reading stories such as Shiny Dinah again and again, or swinging and singing "Soaring", Kindermusik has been a pleasurable and relaxing aspect of our family life through the pre-school years. My husband and I have watched as our boys have learned to use music to calm themselves (especially in the car!) or express how they feel through music. "We have three children who have been and are in the Kindermusik program with Mrs. Christy and Mrs. Raye Jean.   All three of our children love coming to Kindermusik and look forward to it each week. Mrs. Christy and Mrs. Raye Jean love what they do and it shows! They are energetic, smiley and lively, but not overbearing or intimidating to the children. For the older children, Mrs. Christy & Mrs. Raye Jean set clear expectations of what they desire of the children, but they do it in a soft and gentle way which promotes enthusiasm for music with the kids. My kids love music and I thank Mrs. Christy and Mrs. Raye Jean for instilling that love of music in them. Our oldest just turned 8 and started piano 9 months ago after finishing the Kindermusik program. He is playing The Star Spangled Banner right now and really enjoys learning new songs. I would say 95% of the time he is NOT FORCED to practice, just prompted by Mom and Dad. When he started piano, his teacher kept telling us, "He's a natural!"
